Merle Godwin, age 89, of Selma, AL, passed away July 10, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Godwin.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Townsend; grandson, Maxwell Noland Townsend; brother, William Henry Compton, Jr. and sister, Patricia Compton (Dan) Knox.
Graveside services will be Friday, July 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Linda Tarver officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.
