Brandon McHugh died peacefully on January 18th at his home. He was an avid outdoorsman; whether hunting, farming, fishing, or helping out any one in need. Brandon was a member of Elkdale Baptist Church but most importantly a believer in Jesus Christ. He was a devoted husband loving on his family always.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Asbury and Ruth Middlebrooks and Tommy and Elizabeth McHugh.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Blackmon McHugh; children, Keenan Lee McHugh, Carson Delaney McHugh, Ellis Anne McHugh and Cannon Henderson McHugh; mother, Annie M. (Craig) Friday; father Tommy McHugh, Jr.; sister, Tammy McHugh (Hart) Sims; aunts, Mary Callaway and Brenda (Gary) Pierson; uncles, Johnny Middlebrooks and Wayne (Debbie) Middlebrooks; father-in-law, Ron Blackmon; mother-in-law, Carol Blackmon; sister-in-law, Angie (Jamie) Thomas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 21, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Elkdale Baptist Church with Dr. Cory Horton and Dr. Travis Coleman officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the church. Pallbearers will be Cade Adams, Tad Lightfoot, Stephen Tidwell, Will Roberts, William Roberts and Robert Weaver.
