Mildred Chandler Headley, age 92 of Fort Walton Beach, Florida passed away Saturday, February 10 at Emerald Coast Center.
Mildred was born March 30, 1925 in Chilton County, Alabama. The family moved from Selma to Atmore before re-locating to Fort Walton Beach in 1968. Mildred worked in the lunchroom at Ocean City Elementary, Pryor Middle School and Choctawhatchee Senior High. She was a member of Wright Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford E. Headley.
Survivors include, sister Jean Green of Selma, AL; son Ron (Rita) Headley, Brewton, AL, Dan (Jackie) Headley, Kennesaw, GA, Angelia (Tasso) Knight, Duluth, GA and Donna (John) Bishop, Fort Walton Beach, 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be Saturday, February 17 at 1pm followed by services at 2pm at the Lawrence Brown- Service Funeral Home in Selma, Alabama. Burial will be at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Maplesville, Alabama. Reverend Ron Headley will officiate.
