Mr. Kim M. Stokes, the husband of Brenda Stokes of Maplesville and formerly of Selma, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 peacefully at his home.
Kim was born on May 29, 1953 to the late Pete Martin Stokes and the late Ezma Wynelle Stokes.
He was a maintenance technician for Adient Clanton.
Kim is survived by is wife, Brenda Stokes; son, John Stokes; step-children, Josh Hicks (Crystal), Tyler Smith (Sara), and Brittany Brown (Hunter); siblings, Richard Norton, Randy Smith, Gina Bradford, and Pam Smith; numerous grandchildren; and two great-grandson.
He is preceded in death his wife, Dora Ruth Stokes; his parents, Pete and Wynelle Stokes; grandparents, John D. and Eva Stokes; and daughter, Cheryle Grant.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Cleckler officiating.
A committal service will immediately follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Kim's closest friends will serve as pallbearers.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Selma Funeral Home.
