Mrs. Agnes Hatcher

Mrs. Agnes Hatcher of Selma, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 at her home at the age of 92.

She was born in Selma, Alabama.

She worked in sales for Teppers Department Store and Leons Clothing Store.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Elks Lodge.

She is survived by her daughter, Theodora Hatcher; grandchildren, Teresa Wilson, Jeanna Hatcher, Theodore Ross Hatcher, III, Celister Hatcher, Chrystopher Hatcher (Jeronica) and Sherrick Hatcher; nine great-grandchildren, brother, Henry Furlow (Helen) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Charles Furlow, Sr. and Pinkie Furlow; husband, Theodore Hatcher, Sr.; sons, Theodore Hatcher, Jr. and Theodoric Hatcher; and siblings, Cherry Williams and Charles Furlow, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Steven Washington officiating.

Burial will follow in Lorenzo Harrison Memorial Gardens.

Final care has been entrusted to the Selma Funeral Home of Valley Grande, Alabama.
