Myrtle Lee Dykes, age 84, of Farmville, VA and formerly of Selma, AL, passed away April 20, 2014.
She is survived by her son, Stephen (Susan) Dykes; brother, Dave Evans; sisters, Carol (James David) Howard and Erma Parker; sister-in-law, Bobbie Tampling; grandchildren, Gillian Dykes, Hannah Dykes and Austin Dykes and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Fancher officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 5-7:00 p.m.In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY, 10018 or www.pdf.org.
