Myrtle Skinner Kelley passed away January 31, 2021 at the age of 90. She was born November 30, 1930 to the late James Benjamin and Myrtle Skinner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Dalton Kelley, Sr. and son, James Michael Kelley.
Graveside services will be at New Live Oak Cemetery on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lee Tate and Dr. Jerry Light will officiate with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The service will be live streamed online via the funeral home's Facebook page at http://watchlawrence.live for those unable to attend in person. For those attending in person, face coverings must be worn by order of the State of Alabama.
She is survived by her sons, Mark (Allison) Kelley of Selma and Wallace (Leslie) Kelley, Jr. of Birmingham; daughter, Lynn Kelley of Northport; grandchildren, Lindsey Kelley of Selma, Mary Logan Kelley of Selma, Charley (Emily) Kelley of Birmingham, Samuel (Rachael) Kennedy of California, Allyson (Mark) Glenn of Coker, Anna Lee Lackey of Northport, Cody (Jamie) Lackey of Stonewall, Louisiana and Shaun (Kay) Lackey of Northport and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charley Kelley, Cody Lackey, Mark Glenn, Neil Kelley, Jr., Ray Mathiews, Todd Krumnow and Jim Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Wright and Bob Leigh.
The family would like to thank the ladies of Southern Care Hospice for their care.
