Nancy Swindal

Nancy Eurydice Swindal, 83, of Sardis , died Monday, Oct. 17, 1994 in a Birmingham hospital. Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Buddy Champion officiating. Burial will follow in the New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her husband, William C. Swindal of Sardis ; a son, Thomas F. Kelly, III of Sardis ; two daughters, Nadine K. Hain of Sardis and Joan K. Marrs of Alexandria, Va.; two sisters, Ruth Newsome of Tyler and Lillian Brannon of Selma; and eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Swindal was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas F. Kelly Jr., and a daughter Mary Nell Kelly. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Shiloh Baptist Church in Sardis .

Active pallbearers will be Donald Lee Caldwell, Tuskin Caldwell, Al Henley, Johnnie Newsome Jr., Doug Chandler and Bill Sellier.
