Natha Dunkin

Natha Lee Latham Dunkin, age 82, of Niceville, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 16, 2012. Natha was born in Perry County, Alabama, on January 26, 1930, to William Lemuel and Ethel Montz Latham. Family and friends will remember her as a very loving and devoted person. Her endless hours of selfless acts of love endear her to those who were honored to call her mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Natha is a child of God, referred to as a true saint, who, even in her elder years, was still asking the Lord, "How can you use me?" Natha is survived by her beloved son, Bruce Dunkin of San Destin, Florida; her beloved daughters and son-in-laws, Janice and Ronald Bennett of Niceville, Florida, Pamela Nail of Panama City, Florida, and Wanda and Harold Willis, of Valley Grande, Alabama; her beloved grandchildren, Ken and Yvonne Willis, Tommy Headley, Kimberly and Kevin Kerle, Jason and Shannon Headley, Gareth and Candra Bennett, Nicole and Matt Adams, Brian Headley, Keith Willis , Holly McDonald and Brittany Nail; her beloved great-grandchildren, Haleigh Headley, Jasmyne Headley, Colby Kerle, Nathan Johnson, Caden Bennett, Brooke McDonald, Allen Johnson, Ali Johnson, Taylor Kerle, Emily Bennett, Bryson Headley and Lydia Nail; brothers and sister-in-laws, Brack and Polly Latham, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Sonny Latham of Selma, Alabama; sisters and brother-in-laws, Wilma Rutledge, of Uniontown, Alabama, Neladean Elliot, of Demopolis, Alabama, Jeanette and Max McHaney of Shalimar, Florida, Merle Pigg of Terry, Mississippi, Clodean and David Fluker of Uniontown, Alabama and Shirlyn Sheridan of Valley Grande, Alabama. Natha was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Robert L. Dunkin; her parents William L. and Ethel M. Latham and one sister, Yvonne Young. Natha's Celebration of Life (visitation) will be held at 12:30 p.m., Monday, March 19, 2012 at Selma Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home, with Pastor Alan Yarbrough officiating. The graveside service will immediately follow at Mount Pleasant Freewill Baptist Church, of Sprott, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Ken Willis, Tommy Headley, Jason Headley, Gareth Bennett, Brian Headley Keith Willis, Kevin Kerle and Matt Adams.
