Nita Odom

Nita Faye Jones Odom age 51 of Valley Grande passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at her home. She was born on January 13, 1969 to Mac Jones and the late Cora Jean Belcher.
She was a former cashier.
She is survived by her husband, William Glenn Odom, Sr.; children, Charles "Cindy" Royster, Angela (Chad Arnold) Odom, William G. (Shelby Mount) Odom, Jr., Teresa (Jerry) Atchison, and Julian G. Odom; grandchildren, Amya Atchison and Ansley Atchison; father, Mac Jones; sister, Melissa Wright; step-brother, Jessie Crowe; nieces and nephews, Anna Jones, Courtney Sims, and Ashley Smith; great-nieces and great-nephews, Christopher Cochran, Jr., Bently Sims, and Paislee Benson.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Cora Jean Belcher; brothers, Danny Wayne Jones and step-brother Frank Crowe; and step-mother, Ester Jones.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 11:00 am in Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Kenneth Blake officiating.
Pallbearers will be William G. Odom, Jr., Charles Wayne Royster, Blaine Hobbie, Christopher Cochran, Joseph Mills, and Jerry Atchison.
Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Chad Allen Arnold.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Selma Funeral Home.
