Oliver Lawrence

Oliver Lee Lawrence, Sr., age 69, of Selma, died Tuesday December 14, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Lawrence; parents, Ervin W. and Sarah Lawrence; sister, Donnie Diamond. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Hatcher; sons, Paul Lawrence (Emma), Jeff Lawrence (Sharon), and Oliver Lawrence (Lynn); 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, sisters, Georgia Walker (Ray), Bonnie Honeycutt; brothers, Ernest Lawrence (Juanita), Monroe Lawrence (Carolyn), Pete Lawrence (Bit), Jack (Sally) Lawrence and Henry (Lillie) Lawrence; sisters-in-law, Edna House, Ruby (Roger) Teel, Patsy Sims, Christine Anderson and Mary Jo Losse; brothers-in-law, Elgin House (Dale) and Jerry House (Thelma) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A chapel service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday December 17, 2010 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Reverend Rod Rochester officiating and burial following in New Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday December 16 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ray Lawrence, Ernest Hatcher, Melissa Patterson, Earnest O. Hatcher, Johnny Hatcher and Jarrell Lee.
