Ollie Phelps Jones, 93, of Selma died January 2, 2010. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 5 at 2:00 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson with Rev. Dick Gill officiating and Lunsford Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Jones was born September 16, 1916 in Quitman County, Ga. Daughter of the late Joe and Annie Murchison Phelps. She had lived in Selma for the past 19 years and was a former resident of Dawson. Mrs. Jones was married to the late William Ette Jones and was a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Clarence Edward Jones (Monteen) of Cuthbert, daughter; Brenda Joyce Lofton (William) of Selma, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
