Ollie Arnold

Ollie Arnold, age 89, of Selma, AL, passed away October 31, 2010. She was born July 30, 1921 in Maplesville, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Ada Sewell; husband, Robert F. Arnold, Sr.; sons, Robert Frank Arnold, Jr. and Claude "Nip" Arnold; four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her sons, Joe Arnold, John Arnold and Tommy (Mary) Arnold, daughters, Peggy (Jim) Shepard, Dixie (Larry) Snyder, Flora Robertson and Linda Dewees; grandchildren, Jimmy (Wendy) Shepard, Mike (Michele) Shepard, David (LaCrisha) Shepard, Angela (David) Laux, Carla (David) Tomlin, Jenene (Cliff) Rudder, LeAnn Shipman, Christopher (Chanta) Moore, Jennifer Arnold, Shawn Arnold, Shane (Meita) Arnold, Claude Arnold-Connelly, Jr. and Marilea (Michael)Kolenc; great grandchildren, Whitney, Brette Lea and McClain Shepard, Axandria and Sharlee Shepard, Emily and Robert Laux, Rachel Kellert, Natalie and Sophia Tomlin, Jacob and Nicholas Shipman and Amber Kolenc; great-great-grandchildren, Aiden McMillan and Bostyn Barker and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Selma Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Clarke Skelton officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Mrs. Arnold's son, Tommy and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
