Omar Smith

Omar J. Smith, age 85, of Selma, AL, passed away August 29, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Smith; children, Douglas (Jun) Smith, Sandra Smith Karie, Paula Smith Freiberg and Kellye (Brian) Swiney; brother, Cecil Smith; sisters, Emell Hayes, Mimi Stone, Charlotte Smitherman and Lois Hunter; and grandchildren, Kara Swiney, Allison Swiney, Skye Freiberg, Scotty Freiberg, Teppei Smith and Yurina Smith. Visitation will be Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Selma Funeral Home from 6-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Montgomery Area Food Bank, 521 Trade Center St., Montgomery, AL, 36108.
