Opal Free Missildine of Deatsville, Al passed away on May 10, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents; Jessie Oliver Free and Viola Tye Free, two brothers; Therman Free and Vernon Free.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bobby Missildine; son, Tommy (Christy) Missildine of Prattville, Al; daughter, Alison (Mark) Deason of Millbrook, Al; grandchildren, Reid Deason, Parker Deason, Lauren Missildine, Trevor Deason and Landon Battels; sisters, Mae Caver and Ann Hudson; sister-in-law, Agnes Free; brothers, Herman Free, Lenard Free and special friend Gloria Hickman.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens with Brent Missildine and Tom McLamore officiating and Lawrence Brown- Service Funeral Home directing.
Family will receive friends on Monday,May 13, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Don Carter, Steve Hickman, Doug Ferguson, and William Sewell.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Parker Deason.
