Patricia Casey

Patricia Blackwelder Casey, age 94, a resident of Carlowville, Alabama passed away on September 3, 2021. She was born in Lafayette, Alabama on January 5, 1927 to the late Arnold Tilldan Blackwelder and Ruth Zobel Blackwelder.

She was a 1949 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Laboratory Technology.

Patricia is survived by her sons, William L. (Laura) Casey, Jr. and Charles S. (Leigh) Casey; daughter-in-law, Becky C. Rives; grandchildren, William L. Casey, III, Whitney (Braden) Cook, Matthew D. (Meredith) Casey, Margaret C. (Cody) Eason and Jackson L. Casey; great-grandchildren, Cecilia Cook, David Cook and Shannon Eason.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, William Lamar Casey, Sr.; son, David Blackwelder Casey; grandson, John S. Casey and sister, Ann Jones.

Graveside services will be Monday, September 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Carlowville Community Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Light officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
