Patricia J. King age 80 of Valley Grande, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma.
She was born in Lowndes County, Alabama on March 14, 1941 to the late Herbert Parrish and the late Ida Sharpe Parrish.
She was retired from the accounting department Bush Hog.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas King, Sr.; children, Douglas "Dwight" King, Jr. and Richard E. King (Debra); granddaughter, Sydney King Crosby (Chase); great-grandchildren, Natalie Marie Pfeiffer, Alexa Noel Pfeiffer, and Liam James Crosby; siblings, Lee King and Nancy Troha (George); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Ida Parrish; and siblings, Pep Parrish, Pete Parrish, Jewel Johnston, and Frances Hill.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Timothy Mathis officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dwayne Hughes, Chase Crosby, Jimmy Millican, Richard King, George Troha, Joshua Dykes, and David Dykes.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m.. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the care of Selma Funeral Home.
