Patricia Messer

Patricia Mitchell Messer, age 65, of Selma, AL, passed away May 27, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Elva Mitchell and siblings, Aywon Mitchell, Gurtha Burnett, Carl Mitchell and Norma Barrett. She is survived by her husband, Cecil Messer; daughter, Melissa (Preston) Jinright; brother, James M. (Ann) Mitchell; grandchildren, Holt Elijah and Hudson Jinright, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carlton Messer officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday, May 28, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be David Sellers, Mark Holder, Morris Holder, Harry Jinright, Ronald Mitchell and Wayne Burnett. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Baptist Hospice, 301 Interstate Park, Montgomery, AL, 36109 or Montgomery Cancer Center, 4145 Carmichael Road, Montgomery, AL, 36106.
