Paul Edward Glaze

Mr. Paul Edward Glaze of Selma passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Prattville Baptist Hospital at the age of 87.

He was was born in Alabama on April 7, 1936 to the late Harrison Glaze and the late Ethel Ousley Glaze.

He was a retired superintendent with the Selma Water Works. Mr. Glaze honorably served his country in the United States Army as a medic.  

Mr. Glaze is survived by his sons, Daryl Glaze (Kristie), Ty Glaze (Anita), and Randy Glaze (Angel); grandchildren, Victoria Swartz (Brock) Catherine Glaze, Clint Glaze, Cody Watson, and Carson Shadix (Nathan); and siblings, Wayne Glaze (Becky), Kenny Glaze, and Robert Earl Glaze (June).

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Ethel Glaze; wife, Marjorie Glaze; and siblings, Marshall Glaze and Louise Lenoir.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Goodwin officiating.

Interment will follow at Pine Crest Memorial Gardens in Marion.

Pallbearers will be Clint Glaze, Cody Watson, Brock Swartz, Nathan Shadix, Brad Johnson, and Frank Robitallie.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the Selma Funeral Home.
