Randy Benton passed away April 21, 2024 at the age of 69. He was born on April 4, 1955 to the late William John and Dora Benton.
Randy's journey on this earth was defined by his passion for building and creating. As a dedicated carpenter, he poured his heart and soul into every project, whether it was a simple chicken coop or a grand house. His craftsmanship was not just about construction; it was a reflection of his love for turning visions into tangible realities.
Beyond his work, Randy found solace in nature. Fishing was not just a hobby for him; it was a way to connect with the world around him. The sound of flowing water and the gentle rustle of leaves brought him peace like nothing else could. His appreciation for the outdoors was woven into the fabric of who he was.
Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Benton and grandson, Chase Benton.
He is survived by his children, Kevin Benton, Kerri (Jere) Blackmon, and Kayla (Alex) Harper, who will forever cherish his guidance and wisdom; grandchildren, Claire Benton, Kyle Blackmon, Kaleb Blackmon, Hudson Harper, and Embry Harper, will carry forward the memories of their beloved grandfather with them always and brother, Mike (Aurelia) Benton.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Burnsville, Alabama officiated by Rev. Ed Eaton.
