Rev. Charles Gentry

Rev. Charles Raymond Gentry passed away peacefully in his home in Millbrook, AL on Friday, April 13, 2018. Mr. Gentry, an ordained minister of the Church of God, was preceded in death by his daughter, Natalie Dorsey; grandson, Erik Gentry; parents, Rev. John and Mary Vesther Gentry; brothers, Vernon, Willie Ray, Irvin, Verde and James Earl and sister, Flora Mae.

He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Gentry; children, Marlon (Sandra), Terron (Debra), Christie (Case), Kinley (George), Mike (Amanda); grandchildren, Michael, Josh, Nick, Haven, Christian, Taylor, Miriam, Isabelle, Liam, Charlee, Mercy and Anna Jo; numerous great-grandchildren and son-in-law, Dick Dorsey.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Church at the Brook. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Terron Gentry, Rev. J. L. Gentry, Rev. Brian Gilpin and Rev. R.O. Eubanks officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Prattville.
