Rickey Lawrence Duncan, age 54, of Hixson passed away Sunday, September 01, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on November 19, 1958 in Marion, Alabama. Rickey was employed with Kochs Foods of Chattanooga for the past 10 years. He was an avid fisherman and Alabama Crimson Tide Fan. "ROLL TIDE". He was proceeded in death by his mother, Sarah Gay Duncan. Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Belinda "Bee" Duncan; father, Alvin Duncan of Valley Grande, Alabama; children, Jason (Karri) Duncan of Rossville, Georgia; Heather (Wes) Yarbrough of Flintstone, Georgia; Julie (Joe) Beach of Hixson, Tennessee; brothers, Mike (Angie) Duncan of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Steve (Shannon) Duncan of Selma, Alabama; sister, Annette Peek of Selma, Alabama; grandchildren, Zoe and Ashtyn Duncan, Carley, Emma and Logan Yarbrough, and Drew and Luke Beach; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Rickey was a loving husband, son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be missed dearly by those whom he loved. A Celebration of his life will be held at Praise Park Church, 1 Big Pine Drive, Valley Grande, Alabama 36701 on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 2:00p.m. (CST).
