Robert Bain

Robert Paul "Bob" Bain, age 71, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away April 16, 2011. He was born in Wink, TX on May 16, 1939, the son of J.M. and Geneva Bain. He is survived by his wife, Betty S. Bain, daughters, Joy Woodham and Paula Moore, step-children, Freeman T. Reid, Jr., Tye L. (Sharon) Reid, April Reid (Gary) McCartney and Shanna (Ricky) Johnson; sister, Betty (Fred) Rinkwitz; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two step- grandchildren who have been continously by his side. Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Pineview Memory Garden with Rev. Clarke Skelton officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Jack Frost, Robo Robertson, Mike Heath, Tom Dooling, Karl Smith and Will Langston. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Cahaba Hospice, 410 Church St., Selma, AL, 36701 or Valley Grande Baptist Church, 48 County Road 16, Valley Grande, AL, 36701.
