Robert Freano

Robert B. Freano, age 83, of Selma, AL, passed away May 5, 2010. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Barlow and sister, Loraine Wright. Surviving are his wife. Christine Freano; daughters, Linda M. (Clay) Blackwell and Dianne (Ray) Nevius; sister, Phyllis Jean (Ray) Campbell; grandchildren, Arthur Bradford Morrow, Kim Atchley, Shawn Nevius, Scott Nevius, Kristina Blackwell and Clay Blackwell and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Houston Park Church of Christ at 2:00 p.m. with Tom McLemore officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Cosby Carmichael, Wheeler Chance, Don Carter, Doug Ferguson and Bennie Adams. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Molett. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to Houston Park Church of Christ, 2 Crescent Hill Drive, Selma, AL 36701.
