Robert Redd, Sr.

Robert Eugene Redd, Sr., age 70, of Selma, AL, passed away August 15, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Cecil Redd, Sr. and Mary Evelyn Pearson Redd. He is survived by his former spouse and friend, Mary Eloise Redd; son, Robert Eugene (Rexene) Redd, Jr.; daughter, Regina Cecilia Redd (Larry) Callaway; sister, Wanda Ann Redd ((John) Mount; brothers, James Cecil (Patricia) Redd, Jr., Thomas Edward (Margaret) Redd, Jack Allen (Nancy) Redd and Bernard Russell (Kay) Redd; grandchildren, Amber Callaway (Robby) Myers, Brittany Callaway, Cody Callaway, Cassidy Callaway, Elyssa Callaway, Hope Redd, Jeni Redd and Grace Redd; great-grandchild, Aiden Myers; ten nieces and nephews and twelve great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Mount and Rev. Alan Yarbrough officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Robert E. Redd, Jr., George Bowden, Glenn Sexton, Raymond Kynard, Billy Neighbors, Buddy Perkins, Eddie Freeman and Tommy Norton.
