Robert Holland

Robert Mark Holland died on July 4, 2012. He was born in Selma, Alabama on August 4, 1962 and died at the age of 49 at his home in Birmingham, Alabama.

He graduated from John Tyler Morgan Academy and then attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

He is survived by his mother, Doris Shero Holland (Homer Lee Holland, deceased); his husband, William L. Lockhart III, whom he married in California on June 27, 2008; his two step-daughters, Catherine and Melissa Lockhart; his brothers: Michael Lynn Holland of Plano, Texas (Carol); Richard "Ricky" Holland (deceased); and David Lee Holland of New York City (John Kyriazis). His nephew, Michael Shero Holland (Tyna) of Tempe Arizona; niece Melissa Cher Holland Roach (Sean) of Savannah, Texas; great nephew Ethan Michael Roach; great niece Brenna Catilin Roach; aunt Jerrine Holland Crawford (Bobby) of Selma; uncle David Bagby (Judy Francine Holland Bagby (deceased) of Selma; and aunt Fran Shero Davis (Don) of Selma. As well as numerous cousins.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 7th at the Lawrence Brown Service Funeral Home in Selma, Alabama at 10:30 a.m. followed by a service at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. and graveside burial service will follow at the New Live Oak Cemetery.
