Robert Iii

Robin Walker died at home September 16, 2010 following a lengthy illness. He was the owner of Standard Glass Company in Selma. A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Old Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Fred Zeigler officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Robin was born in Bessemer, Alabama, May 7, 1944 to Robert E. Walker, Jr. and Marjorie Lipscomb Walker. Survivors include his wife Louise Chesnutt Walker and his 3 children, Robert Emmett Walker IV and his wife, Cassandra Jones Walker of Birmingham, AL, Margaret Walker Adams and her husband, Dean Adams of Lebanon, TN, and James Rolen Walker and his wife, Suzanne Auzias de Turenne Walker of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Elizabeth Church Walker, Sarah Frances Walker, and Robert Emmett Walker V of Birmingham, AL, James Walker Adams, William Sterling Adams, and Walter Gordon Adams of Lebanon, TN, Duncan James Walker and Nina Louise Walker of Atlanta, GA, other family survivors include his sister, Margaret Jan Walker and aunts Anne Bullock and Clara Calloway of Atlanta, GA and Elsie Horton of Mobile, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Central Alabama Animal Shelter, Sturdivant Hall Museum, or a favorite charity. The family would like to express their grateful appreciation to Dr. Park Chittom, Robin���s caregivers from Mid South Home Health, and Asera Care Hospice.
