Robert Wayne Ingram

Robert Wayne Ingram of Selma passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at the age of 56. 

Robert was born in Chilton County, Alabama on June 6, 1966 to the late Rev. Robert T. Ingram and the late Jackie Sue Scott Ingram. 

He was a logger. 

He is survived by wife, Jonda Chappelear Ingram; children, Johnathon Payne and Timothy Witcher; grandchildren, Kaylee Payne and Glenn Payne; siblings, Betty Ingram Crow (Mike) and JoAnn Stough (David); step-mother, Mary L. Ingram; step-siblings, Roy Ingram, Jr. (Gina) and Virginia Peters (James); mother-in-law, Diane Chappelear Arnold; brother-in-law, Jerry Chappelear; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jackie Ingram; step-daughter, Trina Payne; brother, Melvin Eugene Ingram; grandparents, Theodore Ingram, Lucille Brewer, Isaac “Moody” Scott and Lovenia “Poss” Scott; and nephew, Jeff Carlee. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Randolph Baptist Church in Randolph, AL with Rev. James Peters and Rev. Larry Rainey officiating. 

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Harold Lawley, Ricky McGee, Bobby Jackson, Danny McGee, Devin Lawley, and Michael Peters.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the Church beginning at 1:00 p.m.. 

Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the care of the Selma Funeral Home.
