Robert Edwards

Robert Lee Edwards, age 83, of Selma, AL, passed away October 31, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Norene Edwards, brother, David Edwards, sister, Bernice Nichols and son-in-law, Gary P. Green. Surviving are his wife, Gladys O. Edwards, daughters, Linda E. Green, Betty J. Blackwell, and Charlotte A. Head (George V.); son, Robert E. Edwards; sister, Annie M. Nichols; grandchildren, Ashley Duckett, Taylor Edwards, Stephanie G. McDonald, Amanda L. Green, Gary P. Green, II, Teresa Blackwell, and Rick Blackwell; great grandchildren, John A. McDonald, Jr., Haley G. McDonald, Connor Duckett, Addie Duckett, Ricky Blackwell, Vinnie Blackwell and Shelby Blackwell. Graveside services will be Monday, November 2, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Ocmulgee Baptist Church, with Rev. Danny Sumerlin officiating. Pallbearers will be Dale Nichols, John McDonald, Phillip Green, Taylor Edwards, Dan Edwards and Alan King.
