He was a member of Church Street United Methodist Church. Bob was a lifelong hunter, outdoorsman, and wild life manager. His many years in the woods gave him a deep appreciation for nature's beauty. After retirement from Bush Hog, this appreciation inspired him to establish Cahawba Crafts, where he created many beautiful and simple crafts from materials provided by nature.
