Roger Bergeron

Roger Gerard "Frenchie" Bergeron, age 74, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 in a Montgomery hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife Marlene Bergeron; sister Jean LaPiere; grandchildren, Garret Ridgeway and Whitney Ridgeway. He is survived by his daughters Paula (William) Ridgeway and Mary (Robbie) King; step-son, Tommy Walker; brother, Roland Bergeron; sisters, Claire Woodraska and Rita Jerry; grandchildren, Ryan King, Ashland Ridgeway and Bridget Walker; two great grandchildren and special fiend, Wayne Shirah. Visitation will be Monday, February 1, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Donald Harris and Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Wayne Shirah, Bubba Holley, Danny Paxton, Jacob Paxton, Roman Paxton, Joshua "Butter" Barlow, Lonnie Smith, John Sewell and Derek Roberts.
