Roland Colburn

Roland Leon Colburn passed away May 13, 2022 at the age of 87. He was born November 6, 1934 to the late Leon Stone and Lovie Creel Daughety.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Colburn (Jim) Meyers; brothers, O.D. (Evalou) Colburn and Lacy Colburn; step-father, Joseph Samuel Daughety; son-in-law, David Gene Kinman and former wife, Mary Colburn Moffett.

He is survived by his children, Ann Kinman, Linda (Tom) Knight, Roland (Sherry) Colburn, Jr., David Colburn, Donald Colburn and Ted Colburn; grandchildren, Susan (Daryl) Allday, Roger (Whitley) Chandler, Roy Curtis (Nicole) Farmer, William Colburn, Chris Colburn, Robin Colburn, Tori Colburn, David (Kayleah) Colburn, Jr., Ashley Colburn, Heather Lynn (Charles) Hayes and Michael Green and twenty one great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Chandler officiating. Interment will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Daryl Allday, William Colburn, David Colburn, Jr., Michael Green, Michael Allday and Matthew Farmer.
