Ronald Griffith

Ronald Judson Griffith, age 63, went to be with his Savior after a brief illness, Thursday, November 19, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, J.W. Griffith, Sr. of Centerpoint and brother, J.W. ���Dub��� Griffith, Jr. of Tuscaloosa. He is survived by his beloved family, including his wife, Carol Hobdy Griffith of Hoover; daughter, Joy Elizabeth Griffith of Hoover; mother, Mildred Blankenship Griffith of Tuscaloosa, (formerly of Centerpoint); mother-in-law, Stella Rhyne Hobdy of Hayneville; numerous sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, November 20, 2009 at Benton Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Lee Tate officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. There will be a visitation at the funeral home from 1:45-2:15 p.m. The family will also receive friends at The Sportsman���s Lodge following the service.
Pallbearers will be Harrell Hobdy, Wayne Hobdy, Mack Hobdy, all of Texas, Brady Hobdy of Ashland, Hearold Beggs of Hayneville, and David Holman of Benton.
Ronald would want everyone to celebrate his passing from this life to his life eternal with his beloved Savior. In memory of Ronald memorials can be made to Salvation Army, Benton Baptist Church or Christ the King, CEC.
