Rosaire Labbe

Rosaire Joseph Labbe, age 82, of Selma, AL, passed away October 27, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable B. Labbe; parents, Louison and Yvonne Labbe; brother, Donald Labbe and sister, Vina Frenette. He is survived by his son David Wayne (Patricia) Labbe; daughter, Rosanne (Chris) Johnson; sister, Doris Smart; grandchildren, Dr. Joseph Labbe, Laura Delaine (Edwin) Thornton, David Labbe, Chris Maddox (Beth) Johnson, Matthew Coy (Carla) Johnson and Emily Rose Johnson and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, October 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Light and Johnny Jones officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 3-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ellison, Charlie Ellis, Cecil Strickland, Bobby Carr, Melvin Burge and Mike Giles. Honorary pallbearers will be the Maverick Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church and the members of the Downtowner Coffee Club. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to American Lung Foundation of Alabama, 2200 Riverchase Center, Suite 604, Birmingham, AL 35244.
