Rudolph Burmer

Rudolph Joseph Burmer, age 95, of Selma, AL, passed away September 7, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Burmer; parents, Stanley and Frances Burmer; daughter Nancy Mckay; sister, Harriet Devito and brother, Stephen Burmer. He is survived by his children, Carol (Jim) Hopkins, Fred (Denise) Bollinger, Mark (Sandra) Bollinger, John Burmer and Nick (Sandy) Burmer; brother, Henry Burmer, son-in-law, Don McKay; grandchildren, Heather Burmer, Nicholas (Ashley) Burmer, II; seventeen other grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Kenny Hatcher officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034.
