Russell Comer Spence

Russ Comer Spence of Daphne, Alabama and formerly of Selma, passed away on June. 12, 2024 at the age of 57.

Russ was born in Selma, Alabama on March 8, 1967 to the late Charles Edward Spence and Marceline Violet Spence. 

He was a lover of Alabama football, race boat driving, and bull riding. He was the former Dean of the Pressure Washing Institute and previously served on the Board of Directors for the United Association of Mobile Contract Cleaners. 

He leaves behind his son, James Hunter Spence; and his beloved mother, Marceline Violet Spence. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Spence. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. David Nichols officiating.

Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.
