Ruth Massey

Ruth E. Massey, a resident of Valley Grande, Alabama passed away September 26, 2021 at the age of 88. She was born in Washington, D.C. on March 30, 1933.

After graduating from high school, she married James Massey, who was in the Air Force. Together, they had three children and traveled the world. She was a good mother and wife who loved animals, sewing and gardening.

Ruth was preceded in death by her sons, James M. Massey and David L. Massey.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica A. Adams, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery with Chris Weaver officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
