Ruth Morgan

Ruth Barrett Morgan, age 70, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away February 27, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, E. O. and Effie Barrett and eight siblings. She is survived by her husband, Billy R. Morgan; daughters, Rhonda (Ransom) Williams, Jr. and Teresa Stone; sisters, Romania (Claude) Davis and Louella Clements and four grandchildren, Ashley (Jared) Sellers, Chase (Kirby) Stone, Evan Stone and Claire Williams. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Church of God with Rev. LaRue Carraway officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at Selma Funeral Home Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Ranson Williams, Jr., Chase Stone, Evan Stone, Jared Sellers, Ashley Overstreet, Rick Barrett, Charlton Harris, Tony Andrews, Jr. and Corey Goodman. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Selma Church of God Children's Ministry, 2004 Highland Ave., Selma, AL, 36701.
