Sara Adams

Sara Fox Adams passed away peacefully August 6, 2016 at the age of 76 surrounded by her friends and family. She was born July 22, 1940 to the late Harry and Salena Fox.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother- in-law, Plex and Cora Adams and sisters-in-law, Mary Wardwell and Shirley Pierce.
She was an active member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Burnsville, Alabama and was a member of the Red Hats Society. She retired from Morgan Academy after 33 years as their administrative secretary.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Ronnie Adams; daughter, Kim (Jim) Roberts; son, Ronald E. (Michelle) Adams; grandchildren, Chris (Anna) Adams, Sarah (Jake) Wright, Michael (Blair) Adams, Justin Roberts, Wes Roberts. Amy (Blake) Jones and Hannah (Ryan) Ellis; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Harry L. Fox, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Loretta Adams, Barbara (Jim) Adams and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Wyatt, Rev. Art Hartley, and Rev. Terry Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Chris Adams, Michael Adams, Justin Roberts, Wesley Roberts, Jake Wright, Ryan Ellis, Blake Jones and Michael Frith. Honorary pallbearers will be T.J. Barrows, Norman Harris, Roberts Deas, Bo Harrison, Jimmy Friday, J.V. Friday, Charles Usrey , Judge Bobby Martin, and Homer Reeves.
