Sara Lawrence

Sara Grae Lawrence, age 73, of Orrville, AL passed away November 10, 2007. Surviving are her husband, Bertram E. Lawrence, Jr.; one daughter, Sheryl (Michael) McCord; sisters, Nell (Charles) Dixon, Ann (William) Thomas and Jewell (Frank) Williamson; granddaughter, Brandi (Danny) Coleman and great-grandchildren, Sarah Ruth Coleman and Chloe' Marie Coleman. Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Beaver Creek Baptist Church with Rev. George K. Jones, Sr. officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. at the church. Pallbearers will be Clayton Lawrence, Clayton Lawrence, Jr., Frank Williamson, William Thomas, Randy Thomas, and Charles Dixon. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Mayton, Jim Mayton, Roy Etheridge, Henri Etheridge, Pete Bedsole and J. B. Dowdle. She taught school at Eight Mile Elementary School for 31 years and was a member of a sorority for teachers. She enjoyed reading, teaching school, antiquing and was a member at Orrville Baptist Church.
