Sarah Duncan

Sarah Gay Duncan, age71, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away March 27, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Carolean C. Hartley. Surviving are her husband, Alvin Jadie Duncan; sons, Alvin Michael (Angela) Duncan, Ricky Lawrence (Belinda) Duncan and Arthur Steven (Shannon) Duncan; daughter, Sarah Annette Peek; sisters, Fannie Nevada (Morris) Lipham, Shirley Ann (Richard) Royster, Carolyn Jo Ivey and Mary Rebecca (Wayne) Stone; thirteen grandchildren, Janice Michelle (Kevin) Donnahoo, Michael Shane Duncan, Jason Eugene (Kerri) Duncan, Heather Gail (Wes) Yarbrough, Amber Lorraine (Will) Dailey, Stephanie Nichole Duncan, Tiffany Ann (Brad) Lovelady, Emile Kathryn Peek, Preston Bryant Duncan, Shawna Leighann Duncan, Sarah Hope Freeman, Steven Jadie Duncan and Joshua Thomas Duncan and thirteen great-grandchildren, Michael Ethan Duncan, Gavin Duncan, Cameron Duncan, Kingston Duncan, Jordan Dailey, Zoe Duncan, Carlee Yarbrough, Emma Grace Yarbrough, Logan Yarbrough, Ashton Duncan, Samuel Raney, Logan Shoultz and Kenneth Moye. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Shipman and Bro. Wally Rezendes officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Duncan's grandsons will serve at pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P. O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
