Sarah Palmer
October 30, 1951 — September 14, 2012
Sarah Pruitt Palmer passed away Friday, September 14th at her home in Birmingham.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Berry Lee Pruitt of Jasper; AL. Survivors include her beloved husband, Ralph "Buddy" Palmer, native of Selma; son Martin Brian Clapp (Sidney "Sister" Wood) of Birmingham; granddaughters Margaret Moore Clapp, Lucy Lanier Clapp, and Alice Martin Clapp of Birmingham. Other family includes Suzanne Martin (Charles), Lynn Palmer Barton (David), Edwin K. Palmer (Judy), Russell S. Palmer (Suzanne) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She most enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, sharing with them her love of art. She was also an avid bridge player and made many friends playing the game.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Monday the 17th at Old Live Oak Cemetery.
