Shawn Patrick Harris

Shawn Williams, age 51 of Selma, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham.

He was born on September 23, 1971 in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late Sabrina Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Brittney Williams; children, Ashtin WIlliams, Savannah Williams, and Arron Wilson (Hailey); 5 grandchildren; best friend, Joey Capps; brother, Chris Brown (Sonya); sister, Nichi Brown; 3 nephews, 3 nieces; 1 great-niece; brother-in-law, Joseph "Jo-Jo" Bender; fathers-in-law, Dorus VanderLaan and Danny Bender; mother-in-law, Pam VanderLaan; and a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Burnsville.

Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the care of the Selma Funeral Home.
