Sheila Hatfield

Sheila Tanner Hatfield, age 51, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away February 13, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Tanner. She graduated from the University of North Texas and the University of Alabama. She was vice-president of Safety Net Academy. Surviving are her husband, John Hatfield; mother, Peggy Sue Tanner; daughters, Kelsie (Erik) Lawrence and Tori Hatfield; sisters, Teresa LeBlanc, Trish (Chad) Bailey and twin sister, Shelly (Jeff) Costlow; grandchildren, John Brennan Hatfield and Channing Lawrence and numerous family and friends. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Elkdale Baptist Church with Rev. Cory Horton and Dr. Robert Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the funeral home from 5-7:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Robert Massey, Clay Massey, Cody Massey, Erik Lawrence, Jason Gibson and Roy Friene. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Wheatley and Rob Brannon.
