Shela Ann Smith passed away January 7, 2018 at the age of 63. She was born June 20, 1954 to James William Seay and Emma Delores Seay Shumack.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Smith; brother, Bruce Dundan Seay and sister, Barbara Ann Seay Adams.
She is survived by her children, Phillip Gerald (Christy) Smith, Jr., Sherry (Patrick) Carswell and Tracy Smith; grandchildren, Eugene Smith, Clayton Smith, Haley Smith, Brittany Carswell, Dalton Carswell, and Courtney Carswell; great-grandson, Patrick Andrew Carswell, father, James William Seay, mother, Emma Bingham ;brother, Fred (Sharon) Rhoades, sisters, Tammy (John) Womack and Rhonda (Danny) Demouey and brother-in-law, Malvin Adams.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Bruce Carswell officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
