Sherry Akers

Sherry Kay Akers, 56, of Selma passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at a local hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Meadowview Christian Church with Rev. Joshua Henry officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She is survived by her son, Shane Allen Bohannon (Ashley) of Selma; grandchildren, Chris, Cody, and Blaine Bohannon; brother, Jimmy W. Akers (Jeanette) of Prattville; sister, Sue Belcher of Selma; nieces, LaJuana Roberts of Prattville and Amanda Holbrook of Selma; nephews, Wade Akers of Prattville, P.C. Belcher of Selma and David Belcher of Prattville; and numerous friends.
