Shirley Joyce King Cook, 78, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 9, 2016.
She is preceded by her husband: Jesse Cook; and parents: Gilbert and Nina King.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her sister: Kay Fick (Dick); children: Rusty Cook of Huntsville, Ricky Cook of Selma, Cissy Cook of Selma; grandchildren: Magan Hollon (Josh), Austin Cook (Ivy); great grandchild: Anderson Hollon;
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be help on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Baptist Church. Graveside will follow at New Live Oak.
Pallbearers will be: Austin cook, Terry Hewitt, Jackie Cleckler, Harold Lippett, Harry Pugh, Howard Godsey, and honorary pallbearer, Dr. William McKenzie Jr to whom the family would like to offer special thanks for his guidance and care.
