Sibyl Mclean

Sibyl W. McLean, the daughter of the late Jessie Willis and Dora Lee Willis passed away May 5,2016 at the age of 94. She was born February 17, 1922 and, in 1938 married her late husband of 39 years, Robert McLean.

She was reunited in heaven with her son, Bert McLean; brother, J.D. Willis; sister, Catherine Chappelle and step-mother, Vesta Willis McCullough as well.

She is survived by her children, Betty McDonald, Shirley (Billy) Klinner, Sadie Davis, Jerry (Audria) McLean and Davy (Patsy) McLean; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; sister, Vivian (Bob) Hollis and Esther (Ulysses) Chappelle and brother, Jimmy (Henrietta) Willis.

Funeral services will be Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Moore and Jeff Caver.
