Stevan Guthrie

Stevan A. Guthrie, 52, of Selma died Tuesday, August 24, 2010.
Mr. Guthrie was preceded in death by his father, Johnie W. Guthrie Jr. He is survived by his mother: Alyce Guthrie of Selma, daughter: Christine Alyce Skipper (Beau) of Jacksonville, Fl., sisters: Gail Ezelle (Leon) of Selma and Patricia Guthrie of Billarica, Ga., brothers: Bruce Guthrie (Debbie) of Atlanta and John Guthrie of Valley Grande, AL, four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Guthrie also left behind special friends: Dr. Alfredo Peguero, George Northrop and Ruth Morris.
Pallbearers are Bobby Moore, Christopher Brown, Adam Brown, John Guthrie Jr., Beau Skipper and Dewy Southern.
Services will be held in the chapel at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with burial following at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Bailey officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.
