Steven Carswell

Steven Josiah Carswell, 29, of Selma died Friday, February 8, 2013. He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Janice Carswell of Selma; Brothers, Bruce A. (Tabitha) Carswell of New Mexico, Patrick (Sherry) Carswell of Selma; Sister, Amy (Michael) Cowan of Selma; grandparents, Martha Hubbard, Earl (Yvonne) Carswell, and Bessie Grisham. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gene Hubbard.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bruce Carswell officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Carswell, Bruce A. Carswell, Dalton Carswell, Michael Cowan, Wesley Smith, and Joey Nichols. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Moss and Billy Hubbard.
Steven loved his family will all his heart, especially his 11 nieces and 2 nephews. He loved life and would spend every opportunity he had to hunt. He was a blessing to his family and to anyone that had the chance to meet him. Steven was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
